#001 - Best News of Last Week
Every week I will post links to uplifting, inspirational, feel good news stories from around the globe.
This is an escape from the controversial, fear-mongering, depressing news that is riddled with sensationalism. Starting with:
"The FTC is also encouraging the public to report warranty abuse—as defined by the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act of 1975, which prohibits manufacturers from telling consumers that a warranty is voided if the product has been altered or tampered with by someone other than the original manufacturer."
2. New York City Mental Health Response Teams Show Better Results Than Police
3. Bull Still on the Loose on Long Island, 1 Day After Escaping Slaughter
"If the bull is located safely, it will likely be taken to an animal sanctuary in New Jersey, ABC7 reports." Hell yeah, he deserves his freedom. I hope he's having an awesome adventure.
Progress. Far to go, but good progress. Assault of any form isn’t gender exclusive.
This an important issue and its about time they start addressing it. I see this (guardianship) in long term care every once in a while. The authorities are very reluctant to try to investigate and enforce against family members.
Until next week, follow me on twitter for more wholesome news :)
